Lady Raven is no more. The Emperor’s plans are almost complete. With all of the channellers’ secrets at his command, he will soon unlock a power the likes of which has not been seen for thousands of years. If he succeeds, there may be nothing in the world to stop him.

Princess Idella faces the end of her duties as her father’s vessel. For years her thoughts have not been her own, her actions merely an extension of the Emperor’s control. Now she must decide whether she can go through with his final commands, or if she can find her own voice, and her own path.

The Empire is on the verge of victory and the Rebels are in hiding, unable to challenge the Imperial navy with the Higher Power at its head. Nations tremble, and what little resistance remains teeters on the brink of defeat.

Cora Ravenell awaits her execution. The Empire has taken everything from her – her name, her family, her power, and now her freedom. Her childhood friend, Laden Fell, is set to rise to the Imperial Throne and become the Emperor’s new host.
